No; you can not use any modern monitor or PC CGA monitor or an RGB monitor
unless, somehow, you have the monitor connected to a VCR as discussed by Mike.
The monitor you connect should be a composite color type-- like the Amdek
Color-I or an Apple //e color monitor or a monitor used with a C-64, ..., etc..
And, you should be able to use some TV's which have a composite signal input.
One way to identify a composite monitor is that the connector will usually
have an RCA type plug (like a hi-fi cable). Some composite monitors include a
speaker and amplifier and will have a place to plug in a cable going to a sound
output.
