ROM 3 friendly versions of all these exist.

Those 50k split files you found are binscii files.  These are the
Apple II equivalent of MIME.  Download the .shk archive containing
gscii+, a program found in the Desk Accessory (NDA) section
of the ground ftp server.  It'll let you read those 10 pieces and
spit out an .shk file containing Nucleus.
