I have a rather large one on my Apple II, it was made to run a Lan system, so
it is a little over kill.  My II runs a BBS and I'm not home for 2 weeks at a
time, the system is stable and we don't have many power problems, but there
have been. The UPS will not only keep the system going but protects it much
better then a noral surge protecter.
