DOTC uses just one channel. (On our system, it's the right channel.) This
seems to be true for a number of early games-- Tass Times and Uninvited appear
to use just the one channel, too (same channel as DOTC).
Tower of Myraglen is an early game which uses both channels and outputs
different sound to each. A game with good two-channel effects and music is
World Games/gs from Epyx. Warlock has excellent two-channel effects. Keef the
Thief has very good two-channel music.
Our board is a home brew model-- it's the one described in the FAQs.
