Usually, serial and parallel. But you're right, they could be abit more
specific.

Yes!
It is a memory expansion card, specifically designed to load Pascal and
Basic in it. However, lately it is being abused by ProDOS.
If you have a //e, you don't need one, since the //e has the same memory
built in.
