Re: Apple ][e Character ROM.

I have gen-u-wine ROM dumps of the Apple IIe ROMs, both unenhanced and
enhanced. I programmed my own character set for the video ROM. I even
have a program that will take a Beagle Bros Flex Text (aka Flex Type) font
and create the binary video ROM file.

Part of the video ROM contains the text bitmaps, part contains the lo-res
patterns, and part contains the hi-res patterns. See Jim Sather's
"Understanding the Apple IIe" for details.

The Apple IIe had THREE sets of ROM images: unenhanced, enhanced, and
debugger. Anyone know where I can get a binary image and documentation for
the debugger ROM?
