God, this sure reminds me of when I fried my IIGS when I hooked
my first motherboard to a PC power supply incorrectly.
How does the Focus card look? If the circuit board looks ok, then
most likely you just have shattered platters in the hard drive
mechanism. If so, you can replace the mechanism and have a
working Focus. Like Rubywand suggested, see if you can order
a drive only without the card from Alltech. Maybe even have them
format it with GS/OS and the freeware/shareware IIGS software
library. This way, you get software for your IIGS in the process.
