You can configure your sounds (under Windows Settings) not to give you that
stupid "Goodbye" and "you've got mail" jargon. I never hear any of that stuff.
You can also add m0 (em-zero) to your init string to get rid of the dialing
noise. There's a lot you can do to improve AOL problems. Bad news: "You've got
Pictures," although a great service, is excrutiatingly slow.
