I started the shape table at 31490 ($7B02) and it is 63 bytes long, which
makes it end at 31552 ($7B40). According to Inside the Apple //e, this is
in the free space area between HiRes page 2 and Applesoft's string data.

I have a menu program at startup. Since I have a lot of programs (I'm
using my own HDV hard disk image), I have to go through four menu screens
before I get into the program I use the shape table in. Each menu screen
has 20 menu items, except the last one which has 19. The program I'm using
the shape table in prints a few strings before you finally draw with it
(it's a color hires painting program I'm making). When exactly does
Applesoft add stuff to the string storage area? The strings could be
overwriting the shape table. Could I try H = FRE(0) or moving the shape
table into HiRes page 2 (I'm not using that area)?

I may have to double check that, and make sure I'm reading every DATA
value (I have every byte of the shape table in a DATA statement).

Yes, E8~E9 points to it. As I said, I _can_ draw the first shape.

I _know_ there's no XPLOT. But pretend one moment that there _was_ an
XPLOT command. Now would XDRAW 0 AT 100,100 act like it? As soon as you
can answer that, stop pretending.
