If it works with a Mac, it should work with a IIGS.  Check the
Epson web site to see what type of language the printer uses.
Stylus models supporting ESC/P and ESC/P2 languages
will work for sure.  Printers using ESC/Raster language have
not be tested so they may or may not work.

The driver you need is called Harmonie from from Joe Kohn's
http://www.crl.com/~joko Shareware Solutions II company.

You use the Epson LQ drivers in Harmonie to run the Epson
Stylus line.  As such, print resolution is 360 dpi x 360 dpi.
Which is better than the original Apple LaserWriter.

To make the output of text and grayscale graphics look
indistinguisable from that of a Mac or PC, you'd also want
Pointless from Shareware Solutions II, though.  This is
because at Stylus resolutions, the standard bitmapped
IIGS fonts often look jagged.  You need to use scalable
TrueType fonts.  Pointless lets the IIGS do this under any
GS/OS program.  It also comes with a small set of
TrueTypes, but you can add all the ones from your Mac.
Pointless eats Mac TrueType resource fonts, so just get
them over to the IIGS (in their standard resource fork
form without any conversion) and Pointless will use them.

This is good because the Harmonie Epson LQ drivers do
not support color.

However, pre-GS/OS software often comes with their
own Epson LQ drivers.  PrintShop GS, for example, will
print to the Epson Stylus models in color if you use its
built-in Epson LQ driver.
