It should be fixed by now.  Not my problem :-)  The university shut down
_all_ email etc. services for the Y2K rollover (better safe than sorry
they said).  However, once it restarted the news and mail server filled up
and ran out of disk space so it couldn't accept anything.

If you are still having problems after noon on Sun., 1/2/2000, please let
me know.
