Re: Who owns copyright on old computer mags?
I would sacrafice a small goat to get ahold of even just one copy of an
early-mid 80's "Creative Computing" magazine. I've contemplated going
back to my old High School, where I know they had them, and making some
photocopies...or something...
SO fine to recall in each issue, so many different machine that just
were doing their own thing--their own OS with their own proprietary
interfaces, etc. The Mindset, GRiD machines, Dimension 68000, Osbornes,
etc. Ahhh, the memories. I'm actually surprised I got so much out of
them back then...I was only 8 yrs old in 1980. But man...I surely did.
I have no idea what happened to them. Or to my many A+ mags. My only
real treasures are some real early MacWorlds and NeXT Worlds. I'd even
like to have my old stash of Info mags back. I can almost feel a
tangible pain in recalling them.
