I use a SCSI at at school on the IIe.  On the plus side of things, it has
operated without any problems for years and being on it's own power supply, I
can turn off the computer and turn it right back on again without waiting for
the disk drive to stop (a real plus with little fingers operating the computer,
as on a Focus IDE drive.  It's outlasted a couple of failed Focus drives as
well.
On the minus side, it's noticeable slower than a Focus and it doesn't hold as
much.
