The sockets are ON the card.

If you just took off the little door over the empty sockets, you will
only see the socket.  But undo ALL the screws that hold the metal
shield in place and lift the shield.  When you can see the entire
motherboard at a glance, you will see the memory card.  Remove
the screws holding it to the motherboard and you can lift it off
the motherboard connector.  Then you can transplant it to the
plain 128 in reverse order.  First connect the card to the socket.
Then secure it with the screws.

The card comes empty.  You populate it with 41256 chips.
These are the same chips as on a slinky Apple II memory card
or RamWorks card.  Or many 286 and XT computers.
