OS9 & Netscape 4.7

Hey folks.

Since upgrading to OS9, I've had problems running java chat applications
in the browser.  i'm on a 7600, wtih 136mb of ram.  I've messed with the
memory control panal, no Virtual Memory, and tried disc cash at 0, 512k,
and "reccomended setting". All with little result.

Although I can start java chat apps, the eventually slow the entire
system down.... slow screen re-draws,  slow keyboard response, and
finlly the whole system just freezez under the load.

Anyone got any ideas ?
