Rubywand: Thanks for the program, I will try it tonite (for some reason they 
want me to work on this dang fool NT 4.0 PC during the day.  Ingrates!).   It 
is possible that ADT is corrupt.  It took me forever to transfer it as I was 
having  problems ranging from cord to ribbon wire to tired and issuing 
typos.....

Definitly on just DOS.
The machine I will be using for this is my old 486 which is on MS_DOS 6.22 and 
WFW 3.11. It is on my home PC Net (7 PCs, I know... but I'm compulsive)  (btw 
4 Macs too, I'm not a M$ bigot ;)

I tired down to 300 w/o success.  

Oh btw: to transfer ADT originally I used FCREMOTE (an obscure but quite nice 
progy similar to Comit or Telix) and to get the ADTCFG.BAS across I had to 
translate all carr. returns and line feeds as returns, thereby sending 2 
between each line which was translated as  1 on the Apple at least so it 
looks when listed.  Weird what?
