How so? When I ran my DuoDisk with a UDC card back in my
IIe days, the UDC would let me run Apple UCSD Pascal, which
was pretty hard coded for 5.25 drives.

It is true however that there were a few titles that just did not
like the UDC card. I can't remember which ones.

But it has to be pretty compatible because the Laser series
computers relies on UDC chips to run 5.25 and 3.5 drives.
It is said, however, that the UDCs built into Laser computers
were more advanced than the ones on the cards for IIe units.
