A company in Germany (Combit-IBS) produced the Space 86 which was an Apple
2e compatible computer that had 11 slots that used a 4Mh 65816, inbuilt
serial/parallel ports, 96 Kb ROM. How compatible I don't know. To run 2e you
had to burn 2e roms they were not re-engineered.
