Why don't I just buy the rights to AppleWorks and release it as a freeware and
be done with it all?   Well, if I could at this point I would.

Better still, why don't I just butt out and let it all lay AS IS!  Yes, good
idea - that's just wjat I'll do.

Everybody that wants it can go find it in their own sweet way,
where ever they can find it.

You want proof on anything? Then, call Apple yourself and see what 
they have to say to you on it all.

If anybody really wants AppleWorks v1.0 thru v5.1 - most Net sauvy
people already know where to go to download them all anyway and know how to
convert any of the archives they are in into REAL working Apple II disks.
Or...they can go look for a used copy of it offered on the newsgroup -
comp.sys.apple2.marketplace or they can go to any of the auction sites like
eBay.com and bid on it from whoever has a version of AppleWorks
available for auction --- or whatever!

That's all I've got to relate to you or any others of the matters.
