Ok, GBBS is the BBS as written in the ACOS language and it was never updated
past 1.3j that I know of (I'm sure there may be a later version) , I have ACOS
2.11 and somewhere I think that I have a later version of ACOS plus a beta of
lluce (basically ACOS 3.x). The config.system file for ACOS 2.11 has the driver
for the GSPort (GS Serial Port) listed as option 9. I've always had to byte
edit the acos.obj files for the proper modem init strings and you can infact get
a higher port rate (the config only has 19200).
IF you paid attention to your various posts you would have read the message from
the guy claiming to be the keeper of GBBS/lluce. I suggest you contact him and
pay for the lastest copy.
BTW if you are interested I can try out your connection code, 1 have a few pc's
laying about the loft here which can speak ether and serial.
