Actually, it was Apple /// & Apple ][ then Lisa (nitpick).  I knew several 
Apple /// owners that had a Profile.  Most Apple ][ users when to the Sider 
drive because it was much cheaper (in the "old" days).

According to "The Apple II Guide" (published by Apple in the Fall of 1990):
....
September 1981: Apple's first mas storage system, the 5MB Profile(tm) hard
     drive in introduced, priced at $3,499.
....
January 1983: Apple introduces the Apple IIe computer, priced at $1,395, and
     the Lisa(R) computer, priced at $9,995.
....
