Re: 8x ZipChip and DHR: Anyone else having problems?
This is encouraging, gentlemen, but I tried the ZipChip on another Platinum IIe
and kept getting the same results.

Just thought I'd second that and mention that my 8MHz ZipChip (model 8000)
works
just fine with my mouse and DHR mode as well. I tried it with Publish It! 4
yesterday. My IIe system looks like this:
- Rev D motherboard, ZipChip 8000 soldered in, 18 ga. power wires to all slots
- Bugg-Power power supply (also powers two 3.5" IDE hard drives mounted
internally)
- Aux slot: 1MB RamWorks II
- Slot 1: Apple Workstation (LocalTalk) Card
- Slot 2: Apple Super Serial Card II (modem)
- Slot 3: PCPI 6MHz Appli-Card (Z80 CP/M)
- Slot 4: Apple Mouse Card
- Slot 5: Apple 3.5" SuperDrive Controller (two drives)
- Slot 6: Apple Disk ][ Controller (two drives)
- Slot 7: ///SHH Systeme MicroDrive IDE controller (connects to IDE drives)
- SMT No-Slot Clock
