The card would be worth that much if it were faster than the
7Mhz version (the low end version).  If you modified it to go
at least 10Mhz or preferably at least 12.5Mhz, folks will
snap up the card at your offering price.

The reason modified beyond 10Mhz cards are more valuable
is because the price equals the Zip card plus the osc. and
CPU and upgrade effort and maybe even the cost of faster
RAM chips and socket adapters.  Such upgrades make the
card more desirable because not everyone will go through
the trouble of upgrading (or have the guts to attempt it).

Accelerator cards are sold pretty much at original value, so
a 12.5Mhz one is certainly worth $300.  A 9Mhz one for
$265 is reasonable.

Try replacing the osc. with a 36Mhz one or a 40Mhz one
and see if your Zip can do 9Mhz or 10Mhz CPU speed.
If so, you can advertise it as a faster article which will
better help what you are trying to do.  Spring for a new
CPU and (if necessary) memory and you can better get
the $300 target.
