Actually the reason the temperature in Florida may have nothing to do
with silicon.  It may be that it is a favorite place for windbags and
politicians, being made of mostly hot air, to holiday at.  This could
account for the year round elevated temperatures.  Now this does provide
a question as to the source of the hurricanes that seem to be so
prevalent in that region.  One possibility is that the temperature shift
that occurs when a politician visits the region could be enough to cause
a wind that is capable of producing a hurricane.  In an election it may
be beneficial for a politician to visit Florida if he knows his
opposition is going to be enjoying a cruise or such in the area.
Although this argument is highly speculative and fraught with
descrepencies, it does provide one opportunity to slander another
profession in a way that puts a smile on peoples' faces.  In a way it is
like a lawyer joke.

Another possibility for the elevated temperature in Florida is that
people bring LAPTOPS with them when they vacation.  Those laptops for
the most part have Intel chips in them!

Hey, how come they are not making the cases of laptops with solar cells
so that they can recharge themselves?  Hmmmmmm.
