Apple III disks are Sophisticated Operating System (SOS)
disks.  They use the same file system as ProDOS 8, so
the disks read as ProDOS.

Pascal can run on the IIGS but requires that you use the
built in port and a 5.25 drive.  It won't work if you try to
stick a Disk II card into slot 1 or any other slot except 6.
The built in controller maps 5.25 drives to slot 6 which is
why the built in port works.  Later Pascal versions can
run off the 3.5 drive, but that version requires you to boot
off slot 5.
