That's too bad.  You can consider the option that I took.
My IIGS is in a PC tower case UNDER my desk.  ;-)

It is really an easy and rewarding project.  And when
you are finished, all the pieces are in one compact form
hidden out of the way under the desk.

If you are handy splicing some wires (preferably
soldering them and insulating the splice points with
heat shrink tubing) and a power drill, you can do the
entire project in one evening.

I took my Apple CD300 CD-ROM mechanism, my
Zip drive mechanism, and my hard drive mechanism
out of their respective cases and installed them in
the drive bays of the tower.  Mounting the IIGS
motherboard was easy.  All I had to do was drill
holes in the tower case's metal frame to match the
mounting holes on the IIGS motherboard.  The PC
power supply is great for the IIGS.  Just splice the
power supply wires to the IIGS power connector.
Or you can actually use a small screwdriver and
free the clips from the PC motherboard connector
and do the same for the IIGS motherboard
connector from the power supply and then plug
the clips from the wires from the PC power
supply into the IIGS connector, thereby changing
PC power supply into IIGS power supply without
cutting any wires.
