Apple IIe card for Macintosh LC
I inherited a Macintosh LC II and a friend has given me an Apple IIe card
for it. I downloaded the software to make the card work, and I am able to
get to an Applesoft prompt.
In addition to the LC II, I have got an old Apple ][ plus and an apple //c.
I attached the apple //c's external drive to the LC II's IIe card via the
piggy lead, but every disk I have tried to boot says: UNABLE TO BOOT. The
disk makes the familiar rattling noise, so it must be connected.
I tried changing the speed between fast and slow, but this makes no
difference. I also cannot boot from a ProDOS disk put into the LC's
internal drive.
Anybody got any ideas?
