The Laser's RGB port can be used with a 15-pin
Apple IIGS analog RGB monitor using a straight-
through cable. To use 9-pin CGA monitors (such
as the Laser brand one) requires a different cable.
The Laser is designed to use both types of
monitors. The port can also support an LCD
screen (to activate LCD mode you need to flip
a switch concealed by the metal ROM access
door at the bottom of the unit).
