I have an AE GS RAM memory expansion card which is giving me problems.
Card is marked REVISION A and has chips in banks A, B, C, & D; E & F are
empty.
I'm using it in a ROM 03, which works fine with other memory cards, and
will work with the GS RAM card if I shift-boot, but not if I allow a
complete boot with DA's & stuff. I'm guessing I've got some bad memory
chips aboard.
Three questions:
1) Any suggestions to confirm this suspicion?
2) Any utilities especially for the RAM GS card?
3) Any good ideas on cheap memory chips (I think I remember that 286's
used these memory chips)
4) Anybody know where I could find Harold Hislop's program BITBANGER?
I KNOW I used to have a copy, but I sure can't find it.
I've searched the FAQ's and tried Deja News to search, but now I'm
turning to you.
