Rubbish.
Error $27 (in ProDOS and GS/OS) is "I/O Error". A typical cause of this
error is a bad sector. It might also be caused by a corrupted file
system structure which points to an illegal block number, or a
communication error between the computer and drive. There are bound to
be other causes, as it is the fall-back error code if nothing else is a
closer match.
