certainly one of the earliest was APPLE WORLD by Paul Lutus for United
Software of America (c) 1980. Billed as "A 3-D animated graphics system"
allowing the user to build 3-d color images, rotate them, move farther or
closer, rotate etc. Written in assembly language...
