Pong certainly sounded reasonable to me, so I pulled out a (very old)
copy of the Apple 'Blue Book' to remind myself what cassette-based games
were once available.  There were HEAPS I'd forgotten, or never heard of.

As none of them were dated, and in the absence of ANY definitive
evidence, my guess would be TIC-TAC-TOE.

Yup, real money for a static 3 x 3 grid.
