obviously it wasn't MouseDesk, DeskTop II or UltraDesk.  They're beautiful!

P.S.  I have to agree with Dr. Steve Buggie though when it comes to
SuperSelector.  It's a text-based program launcher that put's the rest to
shame.  Small, fast, clean and powerful!  It finally convinced be to make it my
main launcher at home and use my DeskTop II GUI only when necessary (Those
drive checks can be a pain.).  
I still use DeskTop II at school.  It's friendlier with the students and gives
the IIe a COOL Look.
