Neither was true of the BJC-600. One point I thought was in its favor
was that it used four independent ink cartridges so that each color
could be replaced independently. The print head is a separate
(replaceable in theory, but at extreme [to me] cost) assembly, as with
the Epsons. But my Epson has been much more thrifty and reliable.

Agreed. Someone else's mileage may vary.
