Re: Apple lle boot diskettes - Help!

I really want to thank you for that info. I currently don't have any cards in the computer that it didn't come with, so the super serial and null modem cable will be something I'll be looking for. Actually I need 2 null cables. One for an IBM 5150 I just purchased.

Help! I need to get a copy of an Apple lle boot disk and possibly some
blank floppies, Just one or two so I can get started really using my
computer. I have a great machine that I can get into BASIC with, but I
don't have any diskettes at all for this machine. Once I have a floppy,
I'll know exactly what I need to buy for it and will be getting a bunch as
soon as I have a sample to go on. If you can help and spare just a couple
of the diskettes, please respond to me directly, and I'll send you my home
address. I'll even pay for them if you want. Please, not too expensive.
I'm lucky, but I'm not rich.

Thanks everybody.

Does the computer have a serial port? If so you might want to invest
in a null-modem cable, DB-25 to DB-9 connector, and a Serial-to-USB
connector for your PC/Mac. There are a few projects out there that
can help you write your own disks from downloaded images (ADT Pro) and
also play games directly without disks (Apple Game Server 3)

If you don't have a super serial card, then you might want to hunt for
one of those on eBay as well.
