A parallel card would be ideal but that can come later.
Michael can use Harmonie with the serial port right now
without spending extra on a parallel card. Since the
parallel card is not absolutely necessary, I would use
the money saved for other IIGS enhancements first.
For example, with the money saved from holding back
on the parallel card and using the serial port, a user
is well on the way to a Sirius RAM card which would
smooth out memory intensive AppleWorks GS with
lots of enhancements such as Harmonie and Pointless.
