If that's the case, it might explain the inability of Gus to
reset the clock since the IIc+ has a ZipChip buit in.
Gus, try starting the IIc+ in 1Mhz mode by holding down
the Esc key when turning on the power and then reset
the clock with the software.  After resetting the clock,
you can return to 4Mhz mode and all will be well
assuming Steve's theory is correct.  Good luck!
