Well, I just copied PRODOS v2.0.3 and BASIC.SYSTEM v1.5 to a 5.25"
floppy, pulled the RAMWorks II card from my enhanced IIe leaving it
with only 64k of RAM and booted that new disk. It booted just fine.

Perhaps you needed the extra memory for the program that you were
booting into. ProDOS v2.0.3 needs an Apple II or compatible with 64k
of RAM minimum and a 65C02 processor. Programs like AppleWorks or
DazzleDraw require an aux slot card for the 80 column capability, the
extra memory or the double-hi-res capability.
