Yeah.  I tried that.

I have the top drive (3.5") set manually to A drive using the jumper
settings suggested in the manual that came with the kit.  In similar
fashion, I set the bottom drive (5.25") to B drive.  I also fixed it in the
PCT control panel to reflect the actual positions of the drives.  When I put
in a floppy to boot, it says "disk I/O error" and won't boot.  The red light
on the drive just comes on and stays on.  Don't even hear any disk activity.
