I recommend you check out what you're saying. A HS SCSI (and rev A-C SCSI
for that matter) is certain to be too long to fit in an Apple III. Cards
made for IIIs are always tall and short horizontally, so the well around
the expansion slots doesn't allow very long cards. I have Apple IIIs and
HS SCSIs on hand but no inclination to verify the non fit. I'd bet one of
my spare IIIs it won't fit though.
That in addition to how I hope no one listens to anyone advising gutting
scarce Profiles. There are enough HD20SC enclosures and non Apple brand
enclosures around to make converting a Profile an unnecessary hassle, even
if you overlook how people shouldn't ruin rare old stuff.
I have four Profiles in the basement, two of which work; the other two will
remain Profiles.
