Recently I dug out my well-kept //c and tried using it with an Apple Flat
Panel Display (LCD) which I had obtained six months ago (also in good
order).  I had known before that the legibility of text & graphics on
these displays is poor to almost non-existant under normal lighting
conditions.

My questions is, has anyone been able to improve the clarity and
legibility of text & graphics on these LCD's ?.  I've tried adjusting the
contrast to no avail.  Using the LCD in sunlight at various angles
improves clarity somewhat but isn't a workable solution for a machine that
is used mostly indoors.    

Any help appreciated.
