The beauty of the Laser UDC (Universal Disk Controller) card
is that it has two ports and also supports the DuoDisk drive!

When I had a IIe, I had the DuoDisk hooked up to one port
and a Laser 3.5 drive (a Mac clone drive) connected to the
other port.

Port 1 is a daisychain port. Port 2 does not daisychain.

For regular daisychain drives, just connect everything to
port 1. For the DuoDisk, however, you can connect the
3.5 drive to port 1 and the DuoDisk to port 2 and recognize
all three drives.
