And this *still* goes on today. Now motherboard vendors (at Intel's
encouragement) are starting to release hardware that can't be
'overclocked'... And the only real reason why is that Intel can't
sell faster chips if people are speeding up the chips themselves.
Don't get me wrong.. I know overclocking can be a dangerous practice,
but if someone wants to fry their equipment, who's business is it to
stop them... I say, let the fireworks begin..! :-)
