Black Box has a converter that does what you want, but they want $1600 for
it (Video to VGA Converter).  You're better off either (1) tracking down a
color composite monitor (should be well under $100) on Usenet, eBay, or
whatever, or (2) plug your II+ into the line-in jack on your TV or VCR.  If
one of your x86 boxen has a video card with "TV-in" capability (like an ATI
All-in-Wonder), you could use that to put your II+ on a VGA monitor.

BTW, VGA uses a high-density 15-pin connector.  9-pin is CGA, EGA, or TTL
monochrome.  (The monitor end of some VGA cables is 9-pin, but that is
non-standard and specific to whatever monitor was with the cable.)
