     To get bootable ProDOS and DOS 3.3 diskettes, you could contact some
regular poster to this group and agree to pay postage plus materials cost to
have the disks sent. This would be _much_ easier than trying to transfer an OS
from PC with no disk OS in place.

     The error message you mention generally seems to be associated with the
RAM into which ProDOS tries to relocate itself-- like it's missing or not
working right. (A corrupted ProDOS is another possibility.)  You might try
running the IIe self-test: hold down the Control and SolidApple keys then press
and release Reset.

     If you discover a RAM problem, fixing it may clear up the problem with
starting ProDOS from your hard disk.
