$0201 is a memory error. You don't have enough memory to run the
system software. System 6.0.1 takes a minimum of one mb RAM for even
a very basic system, Since it does that with the floppy, two likely items come
to mind,
1) Some of your memory is tied up as a RAMdisk, Check the control panel
settings(while holding down the Apple and Control, press and release the
escape key)
2) You have a ROM 1 IIgs with either no memory card or an Apple memory
card with a lot of empty sockets. Best solution would be to get a card with a
minimum of 2 mb since anything less is generally considered pretty inadequate
nowadays.
