You can make your clock nicer to watch by skipping
the HGR command to erase screen...

HPLOT clock hands and digital output, then HCOLOR=0 and
HPLOT them again.

If a shape is used to draw the hands, XDRAW can be used both
to draw and to erase.  ROT and SCALE can be used to generate
the hands quite easily.
