Need IIe Disk 2 help!!

Remember the computer that spewed all the gibberish that I wrote about?
Well, I reseated the 80-column card, and now the school's IIe Works like
magic...
Yeah, right.
Now, when I boot, I can see the words Apple //e clearly, and the disk drive
activates, but then it just keeps spinning and does'nt boot anything.  Even
with a bootable disk in the drive, it just spins.  I have tried reseating
the Disk drive controller card, no dice.
Now what?
