Checkmate Technology, Inc.  ran full page adds touting their one meg MultiRam
RGM card as expandable to up to fIVE megs with their MultiRam Plus card, OR 16
MEGS WHEN THE 4 MEGS CHIPS BECOME AVAILABLE IN 1987. 

Did these four meg chips ever come out?  

Were they compatible with the same 256K chips' sockets?  

I don't have the Plus card, but have a regular Checkmate Card (3/4 Meg
maximum).  Could I just replace the 256K chips with 4Meg chips and have a 12
Meg card then?
