They may not be very collectable, but they are very useful.  Just throw on
a printer and pickup AppleWriter (which should run on 48k), and you have an
simple word processor.  It is also a great machine to start out programming
on (BASIC is built right in), and is fine for playing some games on.

Oh, and there were not even 5 billion people living on our planet when the
II+ was introduced.  So why would they produce 50 trillion of them?
